This girl was hard, but maybe Tony had misjudged it-- maybe it was only familiar because he had seen it in Cap. He gave her a wry smile for the interrogation and sunk into his seat, hands clasped between his knees. Obviously, the answer wasn't exactly a light 'Oh, just now, totally keeping track'. But the truth wasn't immediately forthcoming, so it might also not even have been 'this morning' or 'yesterday'. It couldn't have been Tony's top priority to keep in direct contact with a bunch of capable Avengers that he could make sure were alive by tracking their movements.
The truth was, he didn't like how it sounded the last time he had talked to Wanda.
