That was great, but Tony needed something else to do with his hands so he stood to clear the table anyway. He had kept it together as long as he was working, because he wasn't making much progress on the actual problem, so it was time to go back to work. Taking the plates with their bread crusts and drips of butter back to the sink with him, he only pushed them out of sight to move on to the next thing; making a fresh pot of coffee, mechanically and efficiently with much more practiced ease than he had approached the toast. He only glanced Kate's way at her sullen statement, not sure what to make of that.
"Cap," was the only answer he had to her question, keeping his attention on his task. He hadn't gone out of his way to spread the news himself, so it wasn't like Kate had been explicitly excluded, but was sure that Steve had at least informed all relevant parties while Tony was busy with his drafts. Tony nodded, and continued, "He'll have told anyone he thought was necessary. Don't..." He blinked and looked away from the coffee and back at Kate to finish, "Don't tell anyone she wouldn't trust."
