The look suited Kate better than it ever did Cassie, largely because Cassie couldn't be convinced to put the effort in to look or behave as if she actually had a job to do. Which was unfortunate, because Tony had a temporary position to fill with Cassie on an immeasurable sabbatical and Kate was already wearing her junior assistant duds for somebody else. He couldn't even promise her she'd get the weekend off if she joined the team. Especially since her job would be 'find Cassie, don't go anywhere without my knowledge, don't disappear like the rest of your friends.' It was a specialty position.
Not that Tony had 'secretaries' in the office; that kind of lable got him the evil eye. "You're not old enough for that," he suggested obscurely as he happily guided her through the hall, hand on her back again and moving quickly along before she had the chance to make another vague allusion to...well, something. "DB jar?" he pressed. She said it like she was teasing him but Tony didn't know if he was supposed to be offended or flattered. If it was some Harry Potter thing that he was supposed to get, he was offended on principle.
