Right of the bat she could tell that Mr. Stark did not recognize her. That was okay, it just meant that she could have remedied this impromptu encounter with a quick introduction first. A little too late for that, but she'd work it in there eventually. For now she was a little less focused on his erratic behavior (even though that hadn't been at all what she was expecting) and more on Cassie and her apparent absence. Alright, so she wasn't here. Kate twisted her mouth to the side and shook her head.
"Actually, I was in the area so I wanted to take her out to eat or something. I haven't been able to get a hold of her the last few times I've called so," and she chuckled, "showing up unannounced seemed like the best option. Guess not. Anyway, okay. Uh..." Brows kneaded together in thought Kate took a glance at her watch. This was turning out to be kind of a bust. But there was a chance that it wouldn’t be entirely, the day wasn’t even close to over. Clapping her hands together as if she had a new potential plan Kate raised her steady gaze back on Tony.
