With the barest offering of an approving lopsided grin, Tony turned, fully expecting her to follow while he exchanged a few more stunted sentences with Happy. This wasn't exactly the entourage he had intended to acquire this evening, but it came with its own successes. The only downside now was that he wasn't sure if S.H.I.E.L.D.s fraternization policies officially applied to Elektra yet-- or ever. Or, hey, if they even applied to him. Fury couldn't ground Iron Man for something Tony Stark did. Not that it would have slowed him down much. He'd shown his share of agents how playing by the rules wasn't always the best course of action.
Pocketing his phone, he took a deep breath of this new start on this fine evening, even though he couldn't quite taste what was on the wind. That didn't often happen, but when it did he could count on it not lasting long. Whatever Elektra meant for him in the future would reveal itself soon enough, even if she wasn't going to be the one to do it. In their first proper moment alone, he glanced over his shoulder, slowed his step to match her and dropped a hand on her shoulder to say, "Welcome to the team, Elektra."
