At the silent insult, Tony's smile grew into a toothy grin, very near a laugh before it was smoothed away and he nodded and respectfully retreated. He backed away, both hands up like a man unarmed, then wiggled his fingers in farewell before turning to follow Elektra to the door. He really did hope he hadn't ruined Nick's romantic evening, he wasn't the type to get in the way of someone getting their love on. He did hope he ruined the rest of Fury's week, though. Tony would have to send him a knowing wink next time they were on the helicarrier.
"Hey, Hap," Tony was saying as he bounced out onto the landing, the air still warm and bitter with the heat held in the asphalt. His phone was pressed to his ear and he grinned at Elektra while he talked; "You got the-- yeah, you know where General Fury lives? It's like-- Yeah. Really? You're a gentleman and a scholar, sir. I'll mee-- I don't know, 5? Yeah-- I'll meet you there. Do you like pizza?"
The last question was directed at her, the phone already away, Tony not really expecting a 'no'. People who didn't like pizza would appreciate this pizza. If she didn't, she could find her own way home.
