This kid really knew how to flatter a guy. Having him around might have a poor effect on Tony's ego. As long as nobody else noticed too soon, though, Tony was going to enjoy it while it lasted, and he lifted his chin with no little personal pride for being more epic than the Fantastic Four. "Keep that to yourself in public, dear," he was obligated to suggest. The last thing he needed was Johnny coming around to prove how much hotter he was than Tony and singeing the carpets, as if the kid stood a chance.
That was just a taste of the initiation, though. They had a lot more to do after Spider-man was done jumping on the bed. "The quinjets..." Tony started, waving a hand vaguely and nodding to ensure Spider-man knew what he was talking about, "...you're going to have to ask the Captain if you want to learn how to fly them. I'm not much of a teacher. I can show you how they work, though, if you're interested." That was just something to keep in mind. More pressing: "We have regular meetings that would appreciate your regular attendance, as well as training sessions, but most importantly--" Tony paused in the speech he obviously found boring and likely didn't buy into much himself, hand twirling in the air to charge toward the conclusion, and approached Spider-man, pushing away from the door to saunter across the room and pulling an already prepared and programmed Identicard from his pocket. "If you get the call, you gotta show up."
