"Excuse me?" Kitty had been searching through her bag when she looked up, her confusion melting away into the inevitable surprise of having Pyro, of all people, right there beside her with that annoying grin on his face, nonetheless. It was probably safe to say that it had been a while since she’d seen him with all the moving around she did, but damn it “a while” just wasn’t long enough. She blinked and then turned away skeptical and muttered "Unbelievable," under her breath. The world wasn’t big enough. The city wasn’t big enough. This compartment wasn’t big enough.
Coming to terms with that was difficult, but she managed because as far as she could tell, there weren’t too many options here. The aisle had filled up, the subway was moving, leaving her virtually trapped until the next stop. Whatever, it wasn’t like she was intimidated by the guy. With a little unhidden scorn in her smile, Kitty recast her gaze in his direction and hummed. “Fancy seeing you here,” she said with a sarcastic drawl.
