Well, that talk had gone just about as terrible as Peter could imagine it going in almost every way. It was serious guilt time and there was no getting around that. Peter shrank under that glare and immediately jumped to at Tony's sudden reaction for him to get back to work. "Oh! Yes. Sorry!" He all but leaped back on to his project and started his tinkering in silence. Oh man, what had he done? Now his boss and possibly his only friend was pissed at him. Well, Peter Parker, good job. You've gone and messed things up fairly well this time. How much more of a prick could he have been? Wow. Just wow.
It was only after a span of ten minuets that Peter even dared glance Tony's way. Oh and when he did it was with some major puppy dog eyes. Riddled with both shame and guilt. "Uhm, Tony. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.. upset you. I just get worried. I'm sorry." Just how many more times could he apologize? Twice in one sentience. Oh well. He needed to do something here. Tony had been pretty great with him working here, and he could just throw away that kindness.
