Clearly the boy had survived and awakened. Kurt did his best to ignore Sebastian's panicking while he finished up his prayer. He made the sign of the cross over his chest and then rose to his feet. He turned to Sebastian with a surprisingly compassionate expression.
"Quiet," he commanded, though not unkindly. "We must keep our wits about us, ja?"
Kurt had abandoned the conviction that the child was some kind of HYDRA plant. His reaction to Bobbi's death was just far too genuine. Even if his emotion was simply some elaborate act, it didn't matter now- Kurt agreed with the boy's sentiment and was resigned to their impending deaths.
"Surely there'll be another question," he mused. "We should be prepared." Kurt moved towards the door and its slot to wait. Waiting was the only option left to them now.
