"Easier done than you think," he corrected as the waitress brought them their check. He paid and then sat back, watching Noriko. "I have trained many young people and right now I am a teacher at a school for people with gifts like mine," and yours he added silently, but he didn't want to say that aloud. "It's called Xavier's Institute and it's up in Westchester. We are looking for new students and we'll accept anyone in need, no matter their situation."
Kurt shot her a knowing look and paused to listen to the chiming of cathedral bells in the distance. He'd wanted to go to Mass today, he could probably still make it if he hurried. As for his new friend, well, he wasn't going to push her when she wasn't willing to reveal herself as a mutant. At least she would know now that there were other options besides living on the streets and being afraid of herself. "If you know anyone in need of help or training, please send them my way, mäuschen." He rose from his seat then and smiled. "Again, it was a pleasure to meet you, Noriko. I hope I will see you soon." With a wink he disappeared with a bamf and a puff of blue smoke. Some of the other patrons stared around, startled, then shook their heads and went back to their meals. The fifty he'd offered her remained on the table, right where he'd left it.
