Ow, ow, ow. Could this get any worse? What was wrong with Smythe? That guy really needed to get a girlfriend. Christ. After a moment, Peter sat up and had a look about. Oh, Iron Man was dragging the killer robot away. Go team. He got to his feet and watched the Spider Slayer shoot up and out away from Tony's grasp with disappointment clear on his face. Hopefully that suit of Stark's protected him those jet fumes. Which sort of gave Peter an idea.
Anyway, the giant spider thing was falling back down with the intent of squashing Tony. That just wasn't going to happen. Spidey sprang up and web slung himself forward. The intent here was to knock the thing off course with some brute force. Use some of that good old super strength. More of an actual plan could wait till they weren't about to both die. Oh, he was stiff and bruised. This was really apparent as he collided his shoulder with the side of the Slayer and sent it flopping to the side on it's belly. Spider-Man leaned against the side of it after they both settled to the ground. He huffed and puffed, out of breath really. "..Wow. That.. sort of..worked. Whew."
The monster wasn't so happy. It squirmed it's legs around and darted it's sensors over on Spider-Man with the clear intent to, well, slay him. This attempt was made clear by yet another laser blast charging up. That upside down head of it locked down on his position.
