Well, fuck. Sucked for the AIM goons, Nick supposed but maybe the appearance of the T-Rexes (it had to be T-Rexes, didn't it? Wasn't that how this shit always went down?) it was a blessing in disguise for Daisy and Fury. Also, probably nice for the dinosaurs to have a smorgas board all prepared and in too much chaos to defend themselves.
More chaos was just what Nick and Daisy needed to stay out of the firing line and off the menu. He pivoted and took off towards the west, through a sea of panicky bodies, ducking past the one guy stupid enough to try firing at one of the giant lizards and then around the flaming wreckage of a building. What he wouldn't have given for GPS right now, but this island was a black out spot and they'd be going in blind.
Nick clambered up the rocks that made the embankment out of the valley and towards the trees of the jungle. He knew it was roughly two or three miles back to the shore and it wouldn't take them too long to get there barring any traps, dinosaurs, or other catastrophic delays. When he hit the trees he stopped long enough to wrestle out of the suit that was like a bright dayglo target in the moonlight and then turn on his comm links. "Rendevous," he muttered into his earpiece for the scattered Caterpillars to hear. "I repeat, rendezvous."
