It looked like their Jurassic Park ride was over with. Nick slid off the back of the triceratops, waited a few seconds for Daisy, and then took off at a jog along the ridges ripped into the earth by Daisy's earthquake. He changed the frequency of his energy detector and checked it frequently, hoping it would pick up the energy signature of any stray bombs she hadn't detonated. If it didn't, well, at least they could say they'd ridden a dinosaur before they died; there was a silver lining to every dark cloud. Or I.E.D.
Their journey across the valley was made in silence and when they finally topped the rise at the opposite side it was to find another dip in the hills laid out before them. There was a cluster of buildings in the middle of it, one large and several smaller ones ranged around it. People in yellow suits scrambled around outside, shouting to each other, in a state of complete chaos. Nick smiled. He'd found what he'd expected and getting there had gone- mostly- according to plan.
He dug around in the bag he was carrying and handed a small pouch of sticky explosives to Daisy before bringing out his spyglass again. Below them and to the east was a guard post where an AIM dude stood with his back to them, staring out at the people below. Nick swiveled and looked to the west for another lone AIM goon and soon spotted one behind a smaller building, examining a crack in the ground.
"All right, you get down there-" he jerked his head towards the man to the west. "Take him out, put on his suit, and go around and stick an explosive to all the western buildings. I'll take the east. Meet me back here. We detonate together." Nick didn't wait for an answer before he slunk away into the darkness towards the unsuspecting motherfucker on the tower.
