It was kinda hard to believe her, but watching her Cassie suspected that if something was wrong with her, it was a lot worse than being bumped into. The girl seemed kind of on edge and it put Cassie a little on edge, even though she didn't know why. She stared at the girl's tapping foot and figured she was in a hurry or something. The line ahead of them didn't seem to be getting any shorter. A silence fell which was broken as Cassie suddenly blurted, "I like your hair." Maybe if she got her talking the girl would relax and then Cassie could stop feeling so inexplicably nervous about having her standing a foot away.
