So Casie had already picked up the tickets. Peter watched her wave them over at him with an air of success. It was actually a pretty big relief. He'd hate to start off this uhh, this date, Yeah. Uhm, He'd hate to start the date off on the wrong foot. Wait, look at that, she was blushing. Cassie was so cute when she was blushing. Peter had forgotten that look. He gave her a small smile and shrugged his approval at the tickets. Now they just had to get food and find a seat.
That was when Cassie's hand grabbed his. Oh man. Now it was Peter's turn to blush. He followed her inside turning more red with each step. Even after she let go, he was still grinning like an idiot. "Yeah- sure. I'll meet you there. Popcorn, right? And Soda?" He stood there and waited for her to disappear behind the cinema doors. Well, time to head for the concession stand.
After getting their collective snacks, Peter walked into the actual theater. It was pretty dark inside. He peered around looking for her, but didn't see anyone that even remotely matched her description. Maybe she was in the bathroom? Where did she say they were sitting at again? In the front row, the middle, or the back? Well only old people sat in the back. And kids generally took the front. It was probably best to check out the middle rows.
"Cass!.. Cass?" He whispered aloud while stumbling around with arms full of movie theater food. Several people turned to hush him which only served to make it all even more embarrassing. Great. Parker luck.
