Oh man! He was going to be so late! Oh, how much time did he have? Pete glanced down at the digital clock on his cell phone screen for the hundredth time and shot another web line. Running behind as always. Why did he have to lose his fare pass on tonight of all nights? Well, web-slinging to save the day again!
Pete made his way over to the theater as quickly as could. He landed on the side of a building right across the street from the cinema and started crawling towards the ground. His game plan was to make sure the it was clear, and then get changed and look for Cassie. Hopefully by then they wouldn't miss too many previews. Everyone liked previews. It was the best part of going to the movies. After double checking to see if anyone was around, he landed on the ground and opened a ball of webbing slung around his shoulder. A few minutes later, and Peter Parker walked out of the side alley where Spider-Man slung in. Now he just had to find Cassie.
He came running up to her just a few minuets before the movie started. He looked absolutely flustered. Flying across the Big Apple on a single web cartridge will do that to you. "Hey Cass! Sorry I'm late. I lost my Subway fare." There was guilt. Pretty obvious guilt at that. "You look great." He said with a recovery smirk. "Uh-movie? Right. We should get in the ticket line? Oh man.. that is a long line. Great."
