In a flash he was back with the food tray. He was actually pretty darn hungry. After setting down their food he plopped into his chair and glanced back up at her with a sympathetic smile. "Yeah, I can relate. Aunt May still thinks I'm twelve. Jesus, I know how to wash my own whites. You know?" He explained hoping that would make her feel less- awkward? The ketchup was ninja'd and used to drown out his own french fries. The cheese burger didn't look half bad. Diner's had the best fries too. He loved the potato wedge kind.
Oh, school. She asked about high school. "Yup. Back at Mid town high. I start in two weeks. It's going to be my Senior year." He smiled almost to himself and then added a sarcastic "Whoooopie." That was when he started in on his burger. "I'll even bet Flash Thompson is still quarter back. Ready and willing to shove me in a locker." He huffed at the thought. "Well, not this year."
