Jean Grey dashed through the streets, dodging the metallic items as they crashed to the streets around her. She prayed Lorna was alright, god knows that when her own powers manifested she had secluded herself to protect everyone else around her. She had absolutely no control and the death of her friend haunting her mind...it had been too much.
The screaming didn't stop at the sudden release, if anything it grew louder as people were surrounded by forces they didn't understand and thus they feared. Jean slowed to a jog as she approached the park, green eyes scanning the heavily populated area for any sign of green hair and clipboards. There was nothing...but ice? Jean stared, confused, at the huge block. What exactly was ice doing here in the middle of Central Park in the summer? Lorna? Shaking it off, the red head made her way to the center of the mess and gasped. Lorna was in there! With a boy! Her first fear went to the boy, unknowning that his power was the one that had caused the ice block in the first place. I'll get you out of there Lorna. The teen started forward, clueless really to what she should do.
