And now the headphones were on her head. Really? Susan sighed heavily, flushing brightly at the smile Tony gave her. She could tell he was trying very hard not to laugh at her. Of all the people to bring over, did she have to go and tell Tony? The least likely of anyone to take this seriously? It had to be because he was a fellow genius, right? Has to be.
"Its for science, Johnny! Not your video game leisure," she shot back, her condition only making her that much more frustrated and angry with her younger brother. He could never make things easy, could he? "And I know you were tuning me out right there-" she broke off. It was pointless and she knew it.
"Fine. That's fine," she shooed him out of the lab with a wave of an invisible hand before rubbing her forehead. Headache anyone? She should have had Johnny bring her some asprin. Turning back to Tony, finally, she took a deep breath and dipped her head headphones toward the mysterious object.
"I touched it when I was invisible. I should have known better, considering the havoc it played with our powers last time, but I'm a curious. And thus, here I stand, invisible," she ran a hand through her frazzled blond hair and sighed again. "I don't know. I'm tempted to just destroy it, but what if it makes this invisibility permanent? I just don't know". And that took a lot of courage to say coming from Susan Storm, known genius and expert scientist.
