While Kitty didn't share the same amount of adoration for shoes as Tabitha did, she was at least appreciative enough of them to wander into the store for a look. Maybe she’d find a pair of heels to go with the new outfit she bought. Kitty’d given what Wicked had said on the Fourth of July a lot of thought and decided that she needed to get out more. Way more. She'd spent a lot of time at the Mansion lately and took on as many duties as she possibly could to compensate for her sorry excuse of a social life. It was so easy to hide behind work, and gosh was she good at it, but if she wanted anything to change, she really had to break the habit.
And she would, she vowed, starting today! Now, about those heels. Kitty moved toward one of the shelves and stared up at it. Did there have to be so many? It was a little intimidating. Kitty glanced around until one of the sales associates came to her aid and started her off with a dangerous looking pair of stilettos. Mouthing an astonished wow, Kitty set her bag down and sat, holding up the first shoe with a splash of disbelief before slipping them both on her feet. “Oh my gosh,” she chuckled, pushing herself up to a wobbly stance with nothing to clutch really, but the air. These things were really...high. Higher than she was used to. Once she found her balance, Kitty took a chance at walking in them; it came a lot easier to her after the first few steps.
“I’ve never felt so tall in my life!” Shaking her head, Kitty caught a glimpse of the blonde in orange, and did a double-take. “Hey...” Turning around, Kitty smiled and gestured, head tilted. “Haven't we, um--haven't we met before?”
