Whining and talking about what could be done wasn't nearly so effective as actually doing something. Which was what Magneto had hoped to have to avoid, personally, until it was absolutely necessary but Hammer's uselessness and the woman's reticence rendered action as an unfortunate prerogative. Hammer, Magnus simply shot a chilly look and to the woman he nodded, "Please do" as he turned and walked purposefully around the edge of the arena, the dragon turning to watch him. Hopefully, the woman would keep whatever her distraction was to the front so that Magnus could attack it from behind.
Magneto focused his attention downwards, sending his powers into the ground in search of metals and then drawing them out with a gesture that brought a cloud of shrapnel to hover above the earth’s surface. He stared up at his opponent, searching for a weak spot and finally settled on the weakest point he could think of- it’s eyes. With another flick of his wrist the jagged metal pieces shot towards the creature’s eyes, blinding it. It gave a howl of rage and clawed at it's face, now vulnerable to further attack.
