It came a little more naturally to Tony, as much to his own surprise as anyone's, so Wanda was only left to wait as long as it took Tony to reorient himself on top of the beast and remember how everything worked. He was pretty sure this process hadn't changed much since he had left it. His computer had been adapted and updated every three weeks since the second grade, but the last time a horse had a hardware update was 700 AD. That was easy to keep up with.
Encouraging his mount up to pace with Wanda's, Tony found it only got easier as they wandered further away from the stables and down the gentle slope towards the beach. Even Wanda seemed to be forgetting her embarrassing episode. Considering still that glacial pace of development and becoming more appreciative of his horse now that it wasn't slobbering on him, Tony opened conversationally, "No other creature has helped shape Western civilization as much as the horse." Whether that was the beginning of a lecture for Wanda or a doting point of approval directed towards the animals wasn't really clear. It would surprise Tony if Wanda had actually wanted to attempt this as a venue to talk about horses or technology or Western civilization anyway. She had just delivered a surprisingly thorough narrative about shoes.
