Sue and Open !
Despite the massive amount of outdoor activities she had engaged in over the course of the day, the blond found herself unable to sleep. Finally, tired of tossing and turning, she super heroine pulled on her simple summer dress and padded down to the kitchen to grab herself a drink of water.
Pausing at the door, she couldn't help, but be mildly impressed with how silent the actual house was. The early activities would have definitely suggested a different atmosphere for the waning night. Susan slipped inside the kitchen finally and dug around for a glass, filling it with water from the tap, and decided to take it out to the long, winding dock.
Once on the edge, bare feet against the damp wood, she looked out at the lake, suddenly struck with a deep loneliness. Though Reed knew nothing of how she felt, he was too wrapped up in the science for that, she still missed him. And the others. She still felt on the outer edge, looking in at the happy crowd, and wishing she felt more apart of it.
