"Exactly," Dr. Strange assured Billy, obviously pleased with how easy that had been. He had been anticipating more of a struggle after their meandering conversations. Evidently, these students required something to focus on to keep on track. "Except, of course, for you, Miss Maximoff," he expanded, nodding his head respectfully towards the Scarlet Witch.
"All of you are, in your own ways, very good mediums. Does that make a group of you 'media'? Goodness..." As promptly as Strange's lecture begun, he managed to distract himself, staring up at the still sky as he pondered his own ponderance. He must have come to some conclusion because he continued as he slowly brought his gaze back down to his media, "Wicked has a very direct connection with the most immediate audience. With practice, you may be able to cast further, Wicked, but for now you've done very well with who can hear you. Druid, you're not lucky enough to be able to see who you ask for help, but you have the innate ability to reach much further for anyone listening, into other dimensions, times and spaces. Wiccan, you're blessed with a very kind ear indeed; when you ask for help, it is Miss Maximoff who responds." Dr. Strange paused again, this time with his eyes closed and an easy smile until it dawned on him that there was no reason for any of them to believe him. He added, after a longer pause than he should have taken, "Haven't you wondered why your magic doesn't work against each other?"
