Later~
As Tony stepped out of his room onto the patio, he could hear the ambiguous tumult of television noises from Cassie's cabin to his left, and see the flicker of colours dancing through her window. The sound was muffled, and Tony could scarcely hear it as he stepped out of the light and onto the sand, heading towards Pepper's cabin again. Without the sound of Cassie's distraction, he could hear a burst of laughter from somewhere inside the resort, then just the waves on the shore and the occasional clink of glass from his hand. They had pretty well exhausted all of their spa indulgences before the staff packed up and insisted everyone get a solid thirty seven hours of sleep, but there were still a few attractions open at this hour, Tony was sure, like milk and mud baths, and regular clear water whirlpools if that was too much for you.
He gave his careful knock on Pepper's door frame again, listening for her inside. If she was bored of the spa, they could always take a walk. Pepper hadn't been outside of the compound since they arrived, and Tony hadn't even been down to the beach, though he glanced back at it suspiciously like he wasn't sure he was ready to experience it. When Pepper appeared to greet him, he smiled with some surprise then lifted the non-alcoholic champagne he had brought for her to admire before dropping his arm with a dismissive shrug; it was kind of stupid. They could get Pepper a real drink somewhere if she wanted.
