Pepper lay out her towel as well, and sat on it to dig through her bag for her sunscreen. She'd hoped Tony would cave and follow; as much as she liked Cassie, when they were alone together outside of work she felt the age difference more and more. Tony was a good buffer to that. He acted more like a teenager most of the time.
"I am," she said, smiling and liberally applying the sunscreen. She burned far too easily, "And nervous. But mostly excited."
