Alex's eyes faded back to their usual blue, squinting up at the sun, and sucking in great gulps of air before dissolving into another coughing fit. Drowning was not a fun way to die. He really didn't want to experience that again.
His whole body was sore and aching, but stretched out safely on the sand without that creep their trying to shock him, or drown him, it wasn't so bad.
He blinked a bit as Daisy pushed his hair out of his face, giving a smile, and rather tired smile. "Sebastian, you idiot, couldn't you have come in sooner? Or at least brought us home?" he grumbled, head lulling back. He'd sit up in a minute. He was too busy being glad they were all alive.
