Though Tony hadn't really been paying attention, that look that Steve gave him made him regret it immediately, only able to wonder what that ominous feeling was. He had to nod, enthusiastically so that no one caught on to his lack of focus, but then it got worse. There was nothing he wanted to encourage less, even accidental pregnancy, than Cassie 'kicking ass'. At least an accidental kid grew up and moved out.
Maybe he could distract her. Trying not to let on that he fully intended not to even let her flex dramatically, he turned to Steve with a hand on his shoulder and a pat to his chest to send him off with a, "Suit up, big guy," gently pushing him away with a smile but a notable hardness to his expression when Steve met his eye. If they so much as broke out into a sweat in the next sixteen hours, they were both going to learn how long Tony could hold grudges. This was definitely Steve's fault. "We'll meet you in the garage," he announced, giving Steve an encouraging thumbs up before turning to Cassie to move her along with a hand on her shoulder, too. "Real quick, I wanna show you something," he promised before she could argue.
