"Just stopping by," she lied, circling the rim of the bottle with her fingertip. "Haven't seen you in a couple days." Pushing herself off the couch, Jessica sauntered back to the bar. That look hadn't gone unnoticed. "I did a little bit of patrolling before I came around," she said, scanning all the bottle designs; in the midst of that, made a swift, furtive reach for the drug in her pocket. Jessica ‘chuckled. "Stopped an angry pyrokenetic from burning down his boss’s apartment--with her in it." Uncapping a bottle, Jessica slipped the drug in and spun around, chuckling. “I guess he feels mistreated. I don’t entirely doubt it, the foul attitude on that woman even after I’d saved her was grating.” Shaking her head, she handed Nick the bottle and sat back down.
