That must not have been right. The elevator didn't even feel like it was moving to whatever 'A' was. Daisy chewed her thumbnail anxiously for a moment, looking over the weird panel for something else that spoke to her when the elevator doors suddenly rolled open, soundlessly, and that totally wasn't the demolished lobby out there anymore. In fact, it was a nice, little hall with an unblemished tile floor and a two story ceiling. Daisy stepped out into it, wondering up at the windows that let the sunlight pour in well above her, and realized she must have done something right. Now what? Her tentative steps further into the penthouse echoed in the open hall and Daisy tried to take it all in and make a guess at where the Avengers would keep their lost and found. "Alex?" she tried in a stage whisper, not sure who or what was around to spring at her and start, you know, Avenging.
"Mr. Alex is in the recreation room, straight ahead and through the kitchen to your left," an accented and unnervingly emotionless and bodiless voice answered promptly. Daisy was in the middle of the hall and didn't have a shadow to leap into, so she just drew all of the weapons available and aimed at everything. Well, nothing.
