Her body screamed in protest as it collided with the solid hero, his arms encompassing her suddenly, and leg wrapped around her own. He had her in a tight embrace, not one that would be easily broken for sure, and though she attempted to struggle it was to no avail.
She felt the cold, cool metal against her neck and suddenly she was wretched back, laser light eyes boring in her own, emotionless and no doubt, angry as hell. Mission accomplished she thought warily, body suddenly sagging in his hold, if he dropped her, the mutant wouldn't have the strength to fly and land. She would simply plummet and die. Would it be a bad thing? She couldn't make herself deny that it wouldn't.
However, Iron Man had other plans and his elbow flew towards her face, hitting her square in the mouth and blood gushed from her lips, dribbling down her chin, and dripping, like crimson rain, to the waiting ground below.
