The noise was deafening and Rogue numbly raised her hands to her ears in a weak attempt to block it out. However, the flash was worse and she couldn't help, but see stars. The world was a flood of brilliant colored dots, blurred on top by massive greenery and moving bodies on the ground. Blinking, the brunette attempted to get her bearings. Of course, she didn't need perfect vision to make out the gold and red torpedo coming towards her like a bat out of hell.
Damn.
Rogue put up her hands as the metallic hero grabbed her and the two went tumbling to the ground. Wincing, she looked up at him from her place beneath the iron giant with suddenly clear eyes. The tackle might have hurt, but her senses were perfectly clear. "Looks like you got your wish," she said, smirk forming on her lips again, and she curled her legs beneath her, attempting to brace her boots against his frame-anywhere, but that pulsing glow- and kick him off.
