Central Park.
Beautiful, peaceful, lovely.
And Rogue was about to destroy it all.
She had been thinking long and hard about how she was going to do this distraction for Magneto. She wanted it to be extreme, but not horribly so. It just had to be enough to pull most of the Avengers out to play. Dodging in and out of traffic, the southern woman slipped into the park and started walking one of the many sidewalks. Since her powers involved touch, she would have to physically start havoc that way. It would involve intimacy and close contact.
And then it came to her.
Spotting a business man walking not too far ahead of her, the brunette pushed off from the ground, flying the short distance to him and landing smack dab in front. The short flight had caught some stares and right now the park was pretty busy with morning work traffic. It was really the ideal time to attempt to pull this off. Flashing a warm smile, playful even, Rogue stepped forward and grabbed the man by his designer tie, yanking him towards her and those poisonous lips.
"Hey sugah, nice weather were havin', hmm?"
As the man fumbled for a response, Rogue leaned in and pressed her lips solidly against his own in a killer kiss. He froze in her hold, letting out a gasp, before her powers took full affect and he went down in a heap in front of her. It was not enough to kill him, but quite enough to knock him out for a few good weeks. Rogue seriously hoped he had vacation coming or at least some sick days. Smirking, she turned to face the small crowd that had started to gather around them. Pulling off her gloves, pale hands bright in the sunlight, she reached out and grabbed a woman's bare arm, barely wincing as memories and life flooded her frame. In seconds the woman joined the knocked out businessman on the ground. By now, the circle was starting to disperse, but Rogue was not finished yet.
Rushing off, she picked up the nearest park bench and threw it into the fleeing crowd, prompting more screams as it clanged against the concrete inches away from them. It didn't stop with the bench either. She bent and grabbed up the trash cans, tossing them off into the group and watching with sick pleasure as it collided with a duo making off for the trees. She did worse, retrieving one of the many public water fountains from the ground and with a touch of super strength, pulled it free from the sidewalk. Pipes burst and water flew into the air as she tossed the stone covered structure away. By now there were sirens blaring and cops streaming into the park.
