That was not the intended outcome. Tiger's Beautiful Daughter made no contingency for batting angry claws away from her face and overbalanced dangerously on the branch, knocking dead leaves to the ground and trying to fling the cat away from her. So maybe there was a method to their madness. With a bleeding face, she stumbled back as the cat leapt away, finding support against the tree's trunk before she fell to the jungle floor, glaring at the vile animal. So much for that. She let it go, preferring not to debase herself any further, and grabbed a branch above her to pull herself up and around the trunk, out of sight and into the canopy again.
