"Well, they've shut us down," the male student declared, ambiguously pleased with the development. It was better for him if there wasn't a constant stream of butterfingered and entitled tourists going through and degrading everything they worked so hard to preserve and respect. He shrugged towards the closed doors of the tomb, as if it wasn't obvious enough that the place was a ghost town.
His colleague, though, wasn't so enthusiastic about it. "It's terrible! We didn't even do anything!" she said. "That girl went missing from the camp, not here, and I think she wandered off. It's not fair! I mean, I'm sorry and whatever, like, it's sad what happened to her..."
The quiet one looked anxiously away, obviously not comfortable with any of this, and shifted like she was going to slink out of the line of sight.
