As well acquainted as she'd become with the corporate world, it wasn't as if the seventeen year old self-proclaimed superhero much cared for it. Cassie always had higher priorities and the top amongst them was being Stature. She'd tried to stay on her best behavior and only go out heroing with Steve or Tony, but those occasions were few and far between and it wasn't like crime took a break just because she wasn't allowed to fight it. It took about two weeks before she started wearing her costume under the clothes again and not long after that she'd found ways to go off being a vigilante during the day so that she could say with all honesty if anyone asked that she wasn't sneaking off at night.
Between the job at Stark Enterprises and her lessons with her tutor, Cassie's daytime schedule was already tight. Add being Stature into that and she got moments like this one- walking into the swanky restaurant fifteen minutes late, still in costume, and dripping wet from rain as she brightly informed the concierge that she had a meeting with Danny Rand. It took some convincing and a lot of dubious stares from the guy before he finally led her over and she plopped down into the booth across from Danny, pulling off her domino mask and stowing it in her satchel.
"Hi, sorry. I got held up. Pepper can't make it, she's got something going on, too. If you need me to like, change clothes, I've got some in my bag."
