Whatever, that was a total lie. If he had any free time he'd probably be hiding out in his garage, but at least he seemed to get the point. Battle won. Cassie rose from her seat with a faked air of disdain and shot him her best cutting look. Okay so it was a short-lived sit-in but he probably did need to work and, come to think of it, she probably did, too. Or at least, she needed to head to a break room to finish her frappuccino.
"You're welcome, you know, for the coffee," she remarked sarcastically and flounced towards the door with an offended expression. In the doorway she turned back to offer an impish little smile and a wink as she said, "Welcome back," before ducking out of the office in case he planned to throw something at her.
