Danny was allowed his moment of contemplation without interruption because Tony had no doubt that he would eventually accept without any persuasion. It wasn't something a guy turned down. So he was reclining confidently with his arms spread across the back of the couch and an expectant smile when Danny turned back to him, not quite self-congratulatory but getting there. He might not have quite figured out what the problem with Danny Rand was, but he seemed to be running smoothly now. Tony had to jump out of his seat to take Danny's hand, replying with an unbelievably understated, "Yup. Simple," as if that summed up the whole affair. Which it probably was, to someone like Danny; he'd run a competitive company until he lost his mind and thought he'd rather not make any money. That was all right, Tony could work with that.
"It's not exactly what you're used to," he cautioned, but it wasn't anything more than a friendly reminder. He started back towards his desk while he went on, just turning his head to glance over his shoulder as he walked; "We're talking global community here, not just the borough. It's a lot of money, it's a lot of making nice with the rich folks, it's a lot of traveling. You might need a jet. Do you want a jet?"
