"He wasn't," she admitted to Steve and continued to glare as Tony settled down beside her. When he reached for her she merely flinched but didn't draw away. Why was he looking like that, anyhow, it wasn't that bad. "I was gonna have Billy heal it tonight," she explained, her tone of voice defensive. "I haven't seen him since I got the bruises." Now she shot them both accusatory looks. If they'd just let her go, her face would be fine right now, but they insisted on being overprotective jerks. If they were so worried, they should've stopped her before. Now it was like suggesting they dam up the river after it had already flooded. Too little, too late.
