Remy felt her stiffen, but chose to ignore that. Some people were just more defensive about being touched, and he simply chose to ignore it. For all he knew it was because of her alcohol level, but that didn't matter. She needed to walk in a straight line, he wasn't getting handsy, and she wasn't pushing him away. Not much to look into, as far as he was concerned. Shrugging at her comment though, he just smirked. "Conscience's tend to do dat. Second guess everything. You get used to it, eh?"
"Well if dat makes you feel better 'bout your stranger of a conscience walkin' you to your door, den...oui. But you got'ta ask nicely." He teased her right back. Though, that didn't mean that he wasn't curious about the story. "You could overembelish all dat you want. You'd be surprised just how much I'd believe, regardless of dese glasses." And that was far too true for him, given how he had grown up and all of the things he had already seen in his twenty-six years.
