Rogue watched him warily, suddenly sitting upright in her chair, and expression guarded. "Well, ain't that nice of ya", she said quietly, "Stranger". She didn't reach for another glass, merely kept on studying him in the dim bar light swinging lazily above them. She really couldn't figure him out. "You a bodyguard too, Mr. Jimmy Cricket?"
When he raised a hand and pushed his glasses down, the brunette met those shimmering red eyes, like the devil's she imagined, with her hazy green gaze. If she didn't possess interesting talents herself, she might have been frightened enough to scream or run. However, being on Genosha, she was more than used to the numerous mutants walking around, all their freakish natures hanging out for all to see. His ruby eyes were the tamest things she had spotted so far in this life.
"Ah' imagine you know better than most", she commented, allowing a wary grin to cross her lips, watching him prop the glasses up once more and shuffle the cards with the strange easiness most didn't possess in those colorful pieces of paper. "So, what are you runnin' from? Or jus' here for the sights of NYC?"
