"Yeah, Ah think so..." Paige mumbled, her tone dripping with embarrassment. Taking his hand, she pulled herself up and thanked him, releasing her grip to dust herself off...and to feel the gigantic wet stain spreading on her thigh. Was it too late to call in sick?
"This is just what Ah get." Grumble, grumble. She didn't have a change of clothes to switch into. Maybe one of the girls at work would have a hair dryer or something. Pff. Right. There was always the hand dryer in the bathroom. Heh, but she supposed that was the least of her worries.
Drawn away from her thoughts, the girl sighed and finally looked up to apologize when she noticed the cane. If only he could see the look on her face. "Oh my... Ah'm real sorry about that, mister.
