"That's a good idea," Moira agreed, making a note of it. "Building up to being able to identify their own mutations would be an excellent final exam."
The two of them talked and worked together for almost an hour on the class, until Moira looked at her watch. Time to close up. "I'm afraid I have another appointment at eleven. Thank you for your time, Miss Grey. I think we'll be able to open the class up to registration sooner than I expected."
Gathering up the papers, Moira stood. "One last thing before you go, Miss Grey." Folding her hands in front of her, Moira met the girl's eyes with honesty. "I'd like to keep you off the X-Men team for the time being. I believe we both understand why. However, I also believe that you'll tell me when you're ready to be put back on the team." She smiled at her student, her eyes showing the faith she had in Jean. "It's confidence and self-control I want from you, Miss Grey. When you are confident that you have mastery over your powers, you will be back on the team. Does that sound fair?"
