Alex didn't seem to notice that this was still fucking unfair. She was minding her own business and leaving him well enough alone already, he was the one that invaded her space. It wasn't like they had some sprawling mansion to stretch out and avoid each other in, and Daisy wasn't the sort of person to hole herself up in her room. There would be no leaving anyone alone as long as they were on this assignment, so Alex was going to have to figure out and get over whatever this fucking issue was. And in this situation, unfortunately, Daisy was going to have to be the adult, as much as she would rather deck him.
"Hey," she demanded, dropping the defensive pose and standing straight and solid to regain the command she was supposed to have when this whole episode started. "Neither of us is going anywhere until you tell me what's going on," she instructed, free hand on her hip, already out of patience and not willing to put up with any further bullshit. To frame this in a way that showed Alex she didn't have to actually care or anything like that, she added, "I don't need your behaviour putting my team at risk if you can't keep a lid on it."
