character: Jessica, Jean setting: New York City content: Maybe a little angst and drama. summary: A reunition long past due.
Pushing through revolving glass doors, Jessica stepped onto the sidewalk, shielding her eyes from the rays beaming above her. Therapy was normal as per usual, providing her enough relief to last her the day (and maybe the next) until she was feeling off again. Anxious. For reasons she couldn't exactly pinpoint, Jessica had been feeling this way for some time, spurring her to get back into a pattern of seeing her therapist more frequently. He wasn't like the one in San Francisco (that was probably a good thing) or the one in England, but he was good enough, and he didn't mind when she'd spend the majority of a session in silence. Sometimes she really had nothing to say and just needed the company. At any rate, she came to find that he was a fantastic chess player. With a sigh, Jessica fixed her scarf and began her aimless walk through the crowd.
