Magnus listened with a grave expression and nodded, already weighing the pros and cons of her abilities. When she'd finished he unlaced his fingers and stared at her quietly for a moment. "You're useful," he finally remarked, yet his tone was already hesitant with what was to come- "But you're uncertain. The way you wander from place to place, trying to find your place, my dear. You don't seem to know what you want or who you are. So I ask you, in all seriousness, do you want this?" He reclined and tilted his head. He had lost this one before and she was, no matter her professions of loyalty, a liability. Fool me once, shame on you but fool me twice- well, Magnus wasn't particularly trusting in the first place.
"I don't mean Genosha. You are welcome to Genosha. But the Brotherhood, is something else altogether, it is a commitment and you have to believe in it. I'm not sure what a young woman who could go from here, to the X-Men, to Sinister really believes in. You ran away and now you've returned. Genosha is a haven to mutants first and foremost, and it always will be. You may always choose to call this island 'home'. However, I beg that you really consider what being a member of the Brotherhood would mean and if it is really what is right for you."
