Since Tony didn't speak again Wanda didn't either and the silence that stretched on between them would have been classified as uncomfortable if Wanda hadn't been too distracted to notice it. Her mind was brooding over a thousand other things and her eyes were fixed, unfocused, on the skaters out on the ice. The silence was well spent calming herself down and contemplating Pietro and her options and really everything that led to this point in her life.
When She finally turned to Tony and her expression twitched into one of apology. He had clearly gone out of his way to take her out today. He meant well and he didn't deserve her outrage or her outbursts and the argument shouldn't have happened at all. Wanda couldn't deny that his efforts had been at least mildly successful; until Pietro had come she'd been enjoying herself.
"Hey," she murmured to get his attention and reached out to take Tony's hand and squeeze it affectionately, "Thanks."
