Wanda's smile only grew, surprised that he didn't know of her parentage. She'd thought it was sort of common knowledge (part of reforming from a mutant terrorist into a law-abiding hero), but then it wasn't like she advertised the fact if she didn't have to. Changing her last name had certainly helped.
She nodded and for his apology she leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his cheek (an assurance that she wasn’t angry about his not sharing his secret) then rose from her kneeling position, pulling him up with her. Her answer to his promise was a murmured, “Ditto.” Wanda had made similar promises before- to Nick Fury and Steve Rogers and to herself. I’m a bit like my father but I won’t become my father. So far she thought she’d made good on her promise, and Daimon seemed to be doing just as well.
