Daimon's words came to her as if from far away, some distant dream she could ignore, riveted by her own power and the portal- until a living nightmare stepped through it. Wanda ended her connection with the portal abruptly but even then Daimon's admonishments and glares were futile, she was very much aware of the fact that it was too late. The Scarlet Witch had gone far beyond just opening a rift; she'd cast her powers into the void and that was what she'd caught and pulled into this world. It was terrifying. She stood frozen for a long moment, just staring at the creature she'd unintentionally summoned, that now had a taste for her energy. It stared back with soulless eyes and Wanda shuddered, unable to look away from it until Daimon stole it's attention and whatever spell the monster's gaze had over her was broken.
Somewhat dazed, Wanda watched as the creature tossed Daimon back as if he were no more than a rag doll. She made one uncertain movement forward and the beast looked back at her and roared. Daimon's warning- he can't touch you- was met with mild disbelief on Wanda's part but the thought that her circle did protect her was all that was keeping her from completely shutting down at the moment. This was all her fault. This was all her fault but there had to be something she could do, and that thought revived a little of her courage. She was an Avenger after all, not just some damsel in distress, and that meant putting her own colossal mistake to rights.
The most immediate problem she could see- beyond a large winged brute trying to murder Daimon- was the fact that countless other denizens of hell could very easily cross over through that wide open dimensional door she'd created. As she turned her attentions and energy to the task of closing the portal, Daimon ordered her to stay put and began his transformation. Wanda paused to watch him in some confusion, though she didn't realize what exactly he was. Even in this new form he looked human, so different from the creature he was fighting and the monsters that ravaged the little Connecticut town on Halloween. "Demon" was not the first thing to spring to her mind and she simply rationalized it as some strange facet of his magic and returned to her own self-appointed endeavor.
